Dr. Jeremy McMorris was born in Baton Rouge, LA into a wonderful Christian family. He was born again into the family of God when he was 12 years old. Jeremy has had the privilege of growing up as a "preacher's kid" and being blessed with diverse ministry experiences and relationships. His desire for ministry grew in his teen years, and his calling was confirmed in his mid-twenties. He has served in pastoral ministry since 2006.

Jeremy loves preaching God's Word and has experienced God's blessing and fruitfulness in it. He also loves leading people, both individually and corporately, through relational shepherding. Along with serving as a pastor, he enjoys opportunities to teach God's Word, especially to men preparing for ministry. His prayer is that his one vapor-length life will be marked by love for God and love for others.

Jeremy met his wife, Angie, during their college years, and they married in 2002 after they completed graduate school. God has blessed them with four children: Jay, Christiana, Evangeline, and Abraham. Angie also has had the privilege of growing up in a strong Christian home. She studied elementary education in college and has a master's degree in counseling. She is a gifted teacher, counselor, and mentor. As a life-long learner, her interests include education, reading, and health.

Jeremy holds degrees from Bob Jones University (B.A., M.A.) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Ed.Min.). In addition to his pastoral ministry, Jeremy has worked extensively in a Christian summer camp ministry and Christian higher education. He has also served as the president of a Christian school board and spent years teaching Bible in Christian schools.

While his primary loves are his family and the church, Jeremy also enjoys hunting, reading, fitness, travel, and food.
