Dennis Humphrey

Dennis Humphrey is the Youth Minister at Paramount, which includes getting involved with just about every aspect of the ministry, including most of the creative stuff and heading up the High School Ministry. He’s been at Paramount since 2005, and prior to that, he was the college minister and youth minister at Chaparral Hills Baptist Church in Amarillo.

“Jeremiah chapter 1 was my call to ministry,” he says. “Little did I know that my call would allow me to hang out, chill, lead, teach, mentor and still act just like a student. My greatest reason, though, is to be able to teach them about Christ and show them how to have a meaningful relationship with Him.”

Outside of the ministry, Dennis is into playing and watching anything that ends in –ball, including basketball, football, baseball, and golf(-ball). He’s also a major fantasy sports geek. Otherwise, you’ll find him enjoying time with his family, which includes his wife, Jamie, and kids Jordan (10) and Kaycee (7).
