Prayer Quilt Ministry

The Prayer Quilt Ministry is a way for every member of our church to be involved in praying for those going through serious, trying circumstances.

Here's how it works: A quilt is requested and made for a certain recipient and specific request, and the recipient's prayer request is continually lifted up as the quilt is produced. During the process of making the quilt, many threads are placed into it and left long enough so they may be tied later. The quilt will then be put on display — along with the person's name and prayer request — for PBC members to "tie prayers" into the quilt. Anyone who wants to may tie a knot in the quilt, praying for the recipient and his or her request as they do so.
