AWANA Clubs - will resume in September of 2008   

The AWANA ministry is based on 2 Timothy 2:15 and is a game-playing, award winning, Bible-memorization club for children 3 years old through fifth grade. Each child begins by going through a six-step club entrance booklet. They will be an official clubber upon completing this booklet. As an official clubber, they have earned the right to wear the official AWANA uniform and will begin working on their individual handbooks. As their work progresses, they will earn various awards and badges that they will want to display on their uniform. Sound challenging?...it is! But what greater challenge than to grow in the Lord?

The following is a list of the name and ages of each club:

• Cubbies : 3 & 4 year old boys and girls
• Sparks : K, 1st and 2nd grade boys and girls
• Truth & Training : 3rd, 4th & 5th grade boys and girls

Drop-off: Cubbies should be brought to the preschool hall in building A, entrance A1.   Sparks and Truth & Training should be brought to Building B, entrance B2.  The Sparks will meet in room B204.  Truth & Training will meet in the EXP Kids room.  Both of these rooms are upstairs on the second level.

Pick-up:   Pick up kids at 7:15 p.m. sharp. 

The cost to your family is as follows:

• All Uniforms: $10
• All Handbooks: $6
• Registration/Awards fee: $10/year

Payment arrangements for uniforms and handbooks should be made before they can be given out. The average child uses one handbook per year. The registration/awards fee is used to purchase supplies, awards, badges, etc. for the clubbers. Children should have their uniforms to receive awards and commendations. Clubbers also earn AWANA shares each week that are used to purchase items at the AWANA store.

If for any reason you have difficulty paying for the uniforms, registration/awards, or handbooks, please contact a Club Director, Club Commander  or Becky Carr  at Paramount Baptist Church. Arrangements can be made! Your child’s spiritual growth is the most important thing to us.
